摘 要: 采用0.18μm CMOS工艺设计并实现了一个用于IEEE 802.11 b无线局域网的射频发送芯片.该芯片采用了直接转换的架构来最大限度地减少片上和片外的元器件,从而达到低功耗、低成本的目的.当以0 dBm的功率发送11 Mb/s的数据时,发送机的误差矢量幅度的峰值(peak EVM)小于13%(rms值约为7.24%),并且发送信号频谱满足802.11 b的频谱罩要求.整个芯片的面积包括pads为2.5 mm×2 mm,由1.8 V单电源供电,功耗为63 mW. A 2.4 GHz radio-frequency (RE) transmitter front-end for IEEE 802.11b is demonstrated with 0.18 μm CMO8 technology. Direct oonversion architecture is adopted to minimize the number of on-chip and off-chip components required, resulting in low cost and low power oonsumption. While transmitting 0 dBm at 11 Mb/s data rate, the peak error vector magnitude (peak EVM) of the transmitter is less than 13% (rms value about 7.24% ) ,in the mean time the spectrum mask requirements are also met. The chip including pads occupies an area of 2.5 mm × 2.0 mm and consumes 63 mW under power supply of 1.8 V.
