摘　　要： 美国学术界对史沫特莱的研究,缘于20世纪六十年代末美国女权主义者重新解读、界定"经典"的运动。从1973年至今,史沫特莱写作的重要性已经得到美国学术界的认可。美国学者对史沫特莱作品的研究,主要集中在她以美国生活为主题的两部著作《铁窗难友》和《大地的女儿》,侧重她作为女性作家的独特性。这些研究充分揭示了史沫特莱关于美国生活的作品的女权主义倾向。 Motivated by feminists＇ canon-rereading and critical renewal in the late 1960s, American scholars began to study Agnes Smedley＇ s works. As a result, the importance of her works has been widely recognized in America since 1973. The focus of American scholars is Cell Mates and Daughter of Earth, two of Agnes＇ writings on American life. Paying attention to the uniqueness of Agnes Smedley as a female writer, the studies of these authors show Agnes Smedley＇ s feminist tendency in her writings of American life.
