摘　　要： 沈从文作为中国现代文学史上善写悲剧的作家,其悲剧有着鲜明的现代性特征,这主要缘于他对个体存在的理性与情感矛盾有充分的体验以及他对有限个体和外部世界的冲突有充分的认识,这成就了他悲剧的现代性特征。 Shen Congwen is a very famous tragedian in modern Chinese literary history. There are vivid modernistic characters in his tragic writing due to his sufficient experience on the conflict between rationality and sensibility for individual being, and sufficient understanding on the conflict between the finite individual and the outer world. These factors constitutes the modernistic character of his tragic writing.
