摘　　要： 从系统功能语言学看翻译,就是着重从意义和功能角度去考察两个语义系统之间的转换。英语名词词组标题的汉译也是一样,从整个语篇的语义出发,在语篇中确定其意义和功能,并将语篇中最相关意义和功能投射于其语义中,以求解决双语之间因语言和文化差异而导致的翻译困难。 Translation from the perspective of systemic-functional linguistics means transference between two semantic systems with the focus of meaning and function.This is the case with the translation of the English titles（noun phrases） into Chinese,where the whole semantics of the text involved is taken into account and the relevant meaning and function is located and mapped onto the semantics of the titles.This may result in the bridging of the cultural gap and a better translating effect.
