摘　　要： 《中国语言生活状况报告（2005）》（《绿皮书》）的发布使我们对中国语言文字的媒体使用现状有了明晰的了解。文章以绿皮书的数据为参照和依据，进行了《汉字大纲》和《绿皮书》的对比研究，并结合对外汉语教学的实践，提出修订《汉字大纲》、制定《基础汉字表》的建设性意见。 The publication of The Language Situation in China ： 2005 （ the Green Book） gives us a clear picture of the present situation of the use of the Chinese language and characters in the mass media. Based on the data in the Green Book, the author makes a comparative study of Chinese Characters of HSK Graded Outline and the Green Book. By drawing lesson from TCFL practice, the author brings up some constructive suggestions on revising Chinese Characters Outline for HSK and formulating the policy for List of Elementary Chinese Characters for TCFL.
