摘　　要： 从中国大学的英译名称现状入手,列举了几个值得关注的现象并分析其原因。认为,从译名规范性的要求来看,应该避免把大学名称中相同的部分翻译成不同的结果,但是,也应该坚持具体情况具体对待的原则,让某些大学维持其特色,特别是其约定俗成的英文名称。 Beginning with introducing the current situation of the English translations of China college names by listing some remarkable phenomena and analyzing the causes, this article emphasizes the practice of different targets for the same sources in translating China college names should be avoided. Meanwhile, some established translations should be kept.
