摘　　要： 在回顾了国外城市开放空间理论和实践的研究进展后,对城市开放空间的概念进行了分析,探讨了其发展过程及主要阶段,总结城市开放空间的规划模式和研究内容,最后提出对我国开展研究的启示。 This paper reviews the progress of research and planning practice of urban open space （UOP） abroad. Then it examines the various concepts of UOP and describes four periods of UOP development. And the paper introduces 7 planning models of UOP and the foreign study of UOP in the past ten years. At last, this paper points out some enlightenment to the domestic study of UOP.
