摘 要: 在高聚物挤出过程中,当挤出速率在一定条件下增大到某一数值时,挤出物表面将出现竹节状或鲨鱼皮状、扭曲等现象,此即为熔体破裂或不稳定流动。它严重影响着高聚物制品的外观质量,并限制了生产速率的进一步提高。所以,深入探讨不稳定流动产生的机理,进而建立判定不稳定流动的临界条件,对指导高聚物压出成型加工过程参数的选择及过程控制,具有实际意义。 Extrusion of rubber compounds were made on a Monsanto Processability Tester (MPT) to examine the relationship between the instable flow and the parameter variables in extrusion process. An empirical equation distinquishing the critical extrusion rate for instable flow was presentee! as follows:where L/D is the ratio of length-to-diameter of capillary die; a, is apparent shear viscosity of the melts, yw, the shear rate at wall; r is the melt characteristic relaxation time and tR, the resident time of the melts in die; AP is pressure drop. The results of regression analysis and experiment verification showed that the calculation values using equation (5) were better correspondent with the data measured.
