摘　　要： 在中国当代小说中,刘恒的作品中有一种悲天悯人的精神。其悲悯精神体现在社会性悲剧、文化性悲剧、性格心理性悲剧、存在本体性悲剧等层面上。“直面惨淡的人生”使刘恒的小说获得了独特的精神价值。 In the novels of the modern time in China,the ones by Liu Heng are rich in compassin,whose expressions could be found at different levels in forms of social tragedy, cultural targedy, tragedy of personality and mentality, ontological tragedy ,etc. ＂To face up to the suffering lifetime＂ renders his novels with particular spiritual value.
