摘 要: 言语交际的过程是人们在思想上相互沟通、情感上相互传达的过程。同一意思用不同的词语、语调或句式进行表述,很可能产生不同效果,引起不同反应。言语本身就引起听者情绪的变化而言,是一种引发性要素,因而具有一定力度和锋芒。但在一般情况下,人们在交际过程里,为了使自己的观点或要求能被对方愉快地接受,或为了使听话一方既理解自己的话语又不会陷入尴尬境地,往往采用缓和话语锋芒的策略。本文探讨的就是这种缓锋现象,除对缓锋模式进行分类外,还对其语篇功能加以分析。 Communication is one kind of the process in which people exchange their views and express their feelings interpersonally. Speakers use different words, intonation or sentence patterns to represent the same meaning and they, probably, find different effects on the listeners. Speech, in terms of arousing the listeners' emotional changes, is one of the stimulants and has its strength and spearhead. However, in most cases, in the course of communications, people frequently employ a strategy of softening speech spearhead in order to make the listeners accept their opinions or understand their implication without getting into embarrassment. The article explores the phenomenon of softening speech spearhead with regard to two aspects: classification of the softening spearhead modes and analysis of the phenomenon from the triangle of pragmatic strategy.
