摘　　要： 明清淮安商品贸易发达,成为运河沿岸重要的经贸城市,这种商品流通首先与运河的南北交通密切相关;而淮安商品流通的种类繁多,流通地区广泛;加上不同地区商人的参与,使南北商品地理交流呈现多样性的特点。南北商品贸易促使了淮安城市和附近城镇规模的不断扩大,使运河沿岸淮安的诸多城镇在商品流通中,起到联系各级集镇和专业集镇的中心枢纽作用。 In Ming Dynasty, Huai＇an was a well -developed city in circulation of commodities, thus becoming a very important city of trade on the seacoast of the canal, which was closely related to the convenient transportation between the south and the north. The geography for circulation of commodities in Huai＇an was characterized by its varieties as there were varieties of commodities circulated in wide area with many merchants involved in trade from different parts of the country. The trade between the south and the north helped to develop Huai＇an city and the towns nearby and made the towns in coastwise areas become a pivotal role in connecting different market towns in the process of the commodity circulation.
