摘　　要： 担保作为一种制度安排,对债务的实现起到了一定的积极作用。本文以2001年到2003年的上市公司为样本,考察了政府控制、银企关系以及上市公司的担保行为之间的关系。研究发现,银企关系会显著影响到上市公司的对外担保行为。由于国有企业与国有银行在产权上的同一性,地方政府控制的企业的关系贷款会更容易影响到其对外担保行为,同时地方政府的财政赤字也会显著影响到地方政府控制的上市公司的担保行为。对民营上市公司而言,银行与公司的关系贷款、当地的财政赤字等对其担保行为影响不大。这对我们理解当前的金融体制改革、民营企业融资等问题可以起到一定的作用。 Guarantee, as an institutional arrangement, plays a positive role for firms to get bank loans. This paper studies the relationship among government control, bank - enterprise relationship and corporate guarantee behavior by using the data of listed companies from 2001 to 2003. The research finds that the bank - enterprise relationship will obviously effect the guarantee behavior of the company, especially for local state - owned enter- prises, connected bank loans and local government＇ s deficits will influence their guarantee behavior clearly. However, the influence on private enterprises is not so obvious. The result could help us to better understand the financial system reform and the private enterprises financing.
