摘　　要： 以系统功能语言学为理论框架，从逻辑纯功能出发，对一篇英文散文“The Author’s Account of Hmself”及其3个中译文进行了对比分析。分析表明，英汉语篇在对整体深层次的语义关系把握是基本一致的，但是在逻辑意义及其英汉语的体现形式上存在细微的差别。这主要是由于英汉两种语言本身的句法结构差异引起的；此外，不同译者对文本的理解及语言功底是造成英汉语逻辑纯理功能体现差异的主观原因。 This paper aims to conduct a contrastive linguistics study between English and Chinese parallel texts from the perspective of the Logical Metafunction in Systemic Functional Linguistics （SFL）. The materials consist of an English short essay ＂The Author＇ s Account of Himself＇ and its three Chinese transated versions. The analysis shows that due to different syntactic features between English and Chinese and translators＇ subjectivity, the logical meanings as well as the linguistic expressions between the two languages are somewhat different. Through data analysis and comparison, this paper contributes to broaden the application of SFL＇s framework of language system as a tool in the field of contrastive studies.
