摘　　要： 文章探讨了全球化背景中的文化多样性、多元文化教育的价值与发展前景,阐述了全球化与多元化冲突的文化涵义和人类多元文化发展应遵循的基本价值观。主张以“和而不同”理念作为多元文化发展和多元文化教育的支点,认为多元文化教育在促进文化多样性,协调全球化与多元化、主流文化与亚文化的矛盾方面具有不可替代的作用,“和而不同”文化价值观将始终是我们审视与理解人类文化和多元文化教育的金钥匙。 This paper studies values and perspectives of cultural diversity and the related education. It also intends to elaborate the cultural meaning of the conflict between globalization and diversification, and the basic values in the process of diversified culture. It is argued that the conception of ＂harmony rather than oneness＂ should be a base for the process of diversified culture and the related education ; that diversified education functions irreplace- ably in promoting cultural diversity, coordinating the globalization and diversification, and the contradiction between mainstream culture and sub-mainstream culture. It is believed that ＂harmony rather than oneness＂ will always be a golden key for observation and understanding of the culture and diversified education.
