壬基酚聚氧乙烯醚系列乳化剂对苯丙乳液性能的影响

摘  要: 采用半连续种子乳液聚合工艺来制备苯丙乳液,在其它条件不变的情况下,研究了非离子乳化剂壬基酚聚氧乙烯醚系列(NP)对苯丙乳液性能的影响。研究结果表明:随着NP-10用量的增加,乳液聚合速率增加,乳液化学稳定性增加,乳液粒子平均粒径减小,乳液黏度增加,乳胶膜吸水率增加;随着NP乙基化值的增加,乳液的玻璃化温度呈下降趋势,乳液的流变性不受NP-10用量的影响。因此,在制备不同用途的苯丙乳液时,必须严格控制非离子乳化剂NP-10的用量。 Styrene - acrylate latexes were prepared with semi - continuous seeded emulsion polymerization process. Influence of nonionic emulsifier - nonylphenol ethoxylate(NP) on the properties of styrene - acrylate latex was studied when other conditions were constant. Results show that NP- 10, which is added in the emulsion polymerization, has a great influence on the properties of styrene - acrylate latex. The more the NP - 10 used, the faster the polymerization, the smaller the average emulsion particle size, the bigger the latex viscosity, and the bigger the water absorption of the latex film. Glass transition temperature of the latex is decreased with the increase of ethoxylated value of NP. And the latex theology is not influenced by the increase amount of NP - 10. Therefore, the amount of NP - 10 should be strictly controlled when styrene - acrylate emulsions for different uses are prepared.
