摘　　要： 本文运用语用学的知识和基本原理,以委婉语这一辞格的生成和接受为出发点,即演讲者/写作者和受众,研究与委婉语现象相关的语用因素,探求其中的语用理据,分别考察其使用过程中的发话者、语境以及受众这三个主要的语用因素。 Euphemism is regarded as an indirect speech act. The purpose of applying euphemism is to avoid more accurate and direct words or phrases, make the words or phrases sound or read more pleasant, mild or indirect, and soften directness of words or phrases. The occurring of euphemism is mostly dependent on context, including linguistic context and extra-linguistic context; in Other words, context functions as an intervention in euphemism physically, psychologically, culturally or linguistically. Based on the principles of pragmatics, by examining the generation and interpretation of euphemism as the starting points, this paper attempts to explore the pragmatic factors relating to euphemism. The utterer, the context and the interpreter, which are the three main pragmatic factors in the using of euphemism, are analyzed respectively in this paper.
