摘　　要： ICT技术的飞速发展及其在教学中的广泛应用给英语学习者带来了诸多好处。但是国外学者的相关研究表明:ICT在实际的教学中面临着各种各样的困难和压力。本文归纳和总结了ICT给英语教学带来的种种益处,分析了在实际的教学中ICT所面临着的困难和压力,并在此基础上举例说明了在英语教学中应该如何合理有效地利用ICT。 ICT skills are beneficial to both teaching and learning, which allows students to investigate the real world more thoroughly, and often encourages active learning and results in more authentic assessment. But according to some overseas studies, the use of ICT in education meets with much resistance. Mter examining the issues above, this article advanced two examples of specific ICT applications in her educational context and how these applications should be introduced and supported in order to be successful.
