摘　　要： 本文旨在探讨乔伊斯的最后一部小说《芬尼根的苏醒》中的后现代主义人物描写艺术。文章揭示了乔伊斯晚年在人物塑造方面的历史性嬗变及其小说人物的重大转型,并且阐释了《芬尼根的苏醒》中人物的复杂内涵。同时,文章还讨论了人物在混沌世界中的内在逻辑、代码功能以及自我的分裂等后现代主义特征。 This paper is intended to discuss the characterization in James Joyce＇ s Finnegans Wake and to demonstrate the preview of his postmedernist art of fiction. It not only examines the historical change of Joyce＇ s fiction and Significant transformation of the characters in his last novel, but also explores their intricate connotations. Meanwhile, the paper analyzes the inner logic of the postmedern characters, their ciphering function and fragmentation of the self in the extremely difficult text.
