摘　　要： 首先阐述中国外语教学的特点 ,说明折中教学法产生的背景以及该教学法被普遍认同的趋势。然后从宏观与微观的角度探讨了折中教学法在大学英语教学中的具体实施。 This paper first discusses the characteristics of foreign language teaching in China. It introduces the background of how the eclectic methodology came into being and the general tendency of the widespread of this methodology. Then from two different perspectives it interprets the practice： how to carry out the methodology in the English class.
