摘　　要： 简单介词是英语中较难掌握的一类词,中国英语学习者在使用过程中经常犯“缺省”和“冗余”错误。通过运用语料库进行详细的研究和分析,我们发现:简单介词“in”,“of”,“to”的缺省和冗余发生的频率最高;简单介词的缺省与冗余成正比关系,而简单介词的缺省和冗余与英语水平成反比关系。 It＇s hard for Chinese EFL learners to master simple prepositions. When they use them, ＂absence＂ and ＂redundancy＂ often happen. Mter detailed research and analysis, we found the absence and redundancy rate of ＂in＂, ＂of＇ and ＂to＂ are highest, absence and redundancy of simple prepositions committed by Chinese EFL learners are in direct proportion, on the other hand, the commitment of absence and redundancy are inversely proportional to English proficiency level.
