摘　　要： 随着我国加入世贸组织,国际交流的日益频繁,未来的人才必定需适应世界经济一体化、文化多元化的要求。“面向未来、面向世界、面向现代化”要求培养未来人才的初等教育教育工作者首先具备相应的能力。本文拟从我国西部地区小学教育的现实需要出发对我院设立小学教育双语跨学科复合型本科专业的意义、专业建设思路及我院开办此专业的可能性进行论证。 A qualified personnel in future has to meet the need of economic globali -zation and cultural diversity along with the entry of our nation into WTO and the incre -asing frequency of international exchanges. The requirement for the future, for the globalization, for the modernizations calls for teachers in primary schools to empower them with suitable abilities. This paper attempts to give a report on the significance, possibilities and ways of foundation of the complex Blingual Cross-subject Major （CBCM） based on the reality of primary school education in western areas of our country.
