摘 要: 对G d1-xCx(x=0、0.02、0.035、0.05)合金的磁热性能及显微硬度的分析测试表明,C的加入可大幅提高材料的维氏硬度;在一定成份范围内,C元素的加入对G d的居里温度影响不大;2%(原子分数)C的加入几乎不降低G d的绝热温变峰值,G d0.95C0.05的最大磁熵变有所降低但降幅不大,综合比较,G d0.98C0.02合金是制作工质盘理想的磁致冷材料。 Magnetocaloric effect (MCE) and microhardness of Gd1-xCx (X=0,0.02,0. 035,0. 05) has been examined. The results indicate that the microhardness of the alloys increase remarkably and the curie temperature Tc has no change with addition of C element. The peak value of adiabatic temperature change △Tad of Gd1-xCx alloy hardly reduces with 2at% addition of C, the maximum magnetic entropy change of Gd0.95C0.05 alloy has a small decline. Gd0.98C0.02 alloy is a promising material for refrigerant--filling case of room temperature magnetic refrigerator making.
