摘　　要： 翻译专业本科教学的当务之急是设计一份教学大纲。本文从翻译教学大纲和外语教学大纲的异同对比出发,基于我国翻译教学的现实,从翻译教学的目的,教学方法、课程设置、测试与评估等几个主要方面探讨我国本科翻译专业教学大纲的构成要素。 An adequate syllabus is what China＇ s undergraduate-level translation teaching needs urgently right now, Taking as its point of departure the status quo of China＇ s translation pedagogy, and drawing from an analysis of the differences between the syllabi for translation teaching and for foreign language teaching respectively, this paper discusses the essential components of what would constitute an effective syllabus for China＇s undergraduate translation major in terms of the objective, the method, the curriculum, and the evaluative criteria of translation teaching.
