摘　　要： 课堂活动是大学英语教学活动中的重要环节,是学生实现从语言知识向语言技能转化的有效途径。本文阐述了课堂活动的功能,列举了大学英语教学中课堂活动的主要类型,并分别就各类课堂活动的优缺点及操作要领作了阐述。 Classroom activity is one of the key links in college English-teaching. In fact, to transform language knowledge for students into practical language skills, either oral communicating skills or writing expressions depends largely upon the efficiency of classroom activities. In present paper, the important functions of classroom activities in Engllsh-teachlng are illustrated from college English-teachlng, their advantages and disadvantages as well as their operations are discussed in detail respectively.
