摘　　要： 论述了西方修辞学在西方国家中的重要地位,分析了西方修辞学在我国英语教育中的现状,指出了我国要想培养出善于和西方打交道,能够真正参与“国际”话语交流的人才,必须在英语教育中加强西方修辞学教学. This paper mainly discusses the important position of rhetoric in the western countries, analyzes the current state of rhetoric in China＇ s English education and points out that it is necessary to strengthen rhetoric teaching in English education if we want to train those who are good at making contact with the west and who can properly communicate with foreigners.
