摘　　要： 现代社会的一个重要进步就是对“儿童”概念的发现,而对这一观念起重要引领和推动作用的就是周作人。五四时期,他对外国儿童文学的译介促进了中国儿童文学翻译的滥觞。他提出的许多观点,譬如,译者应该有人类学的相关知识,翻译中应该调整作品的文体和句法特征以贴近儿童语言的思想,至今仍有鲜明的价值和意义。周作人翻译思想中的“儿童本位”观是中国现代文学翻译史上重要的精神财富。 One progress of modem society is its concentration on the concept of children. However, the scholar who leads and propels this development isZhou Zuoren, who commenced the translation and introduction of the foreign children＇s literature in May 4th period. His such thoughts as the translator of children＇s literature should have knowledge of anthropology as well as that he should adapt the style and syntactic structures so as to be close to the children＇s language, etc. , have obvious value and significance even to now. Children＇s standard in Zhou Zuoren＇ s thoughts on translation should be regarded as a valuable wealth in modem literary translation history.
