摘　　要： 本文基于语音信号的特性分析，给出了差值脉冲编码（ＤＰＣＭ）的基本原理，并针对ＤＰＣＭ方法压缩比较低的缺陷，提出了根据语音信源概率分布提高压缩度的方法，对ＤＰＣＭ的编码质量也进行了改进。最后，给出了这种压缩方法的客观及主观的质量评价。 ased on the character analysis of speech signal, this paper gives the basic principle of Different Pulse Code Modulation. The way of raising the compression degree according to the speech probability distribution is found to overcome the defect of DPCM whose compression ratio is too low. The coding quality of DPCM is also improved. At the end, the objective and subjective evaluation is given about this compression project.
