摘　　要： 以“举办国际大型体育赛事经营城市离不开政府的大力支持”为逻辑起点,在对国际大型体育赛事界定的基础上,以广州市为例,论述了政府选择国际大型体育赛事的宏观制约因素,以及国际大型体育赛事本身对政府在选择上的制约。在以上论证的基础上认为:政府选择某个国际大型体育赛事来经营城市是一个复杂的系统工程,在此结论的基础上,以广州市为例提出了三点建议。 The paper, beginning with the opinion that government is key link to hold International Large - scale Sports Matches, limits the International Large - scale Sports Matches and analyzes the Macroscopic factors influencing the government selecting the matches and the factors that the matches Restrict government choice with an example of Guangzhou. On the basis of above studies, the paper concludes： it is a Complex systematic project that government selecting International Large - scale Sports Matches. At last, the paper, with the example of Guangzhou, proposes three pieces of suggestion.
