摘 要: 针对虹膜纹理的幅度和相位信息特征,利用二维Gabor滤波器族可以很好地模拟皮层简单细胞的二维感受野轮廓,能够最大限度的提供图像局部方向和频率信息的特点,提出一种基于二维Gabor函数族对虹膜图像进行子块分解滤波的改进编码算法。实验结果表明,该方法能有效的提取虹膜纹理特征,从而达到虹膜识别的目的。 The paper proposes an improved algorithm for encoding iris texture image. One suitable model for simulating the two-dimensional perceptive field profiles in cortical simple cells is established with the parameterized family of"2-D Gabor filters". The texture of iris image with the characteristic of amplitude and phase information is extracted by the parameterized family of"2-D Gabor filters", which can capture properties of orientation selectivity, spatial frequency selectivity, and phase information of image by the greatest extent. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm is feasible for iris recognition.
