摘　　要： 隐喻是一种普遍的语言认知现象。英语和汉语都有着丰富的隐喻。本文从语用失误和语用等效的角度出发,在对英汉隐喻进行语用对比的基础上,探讨了英语和汉语中不同类型隐喻的三种不同的翻译策略,即:归化法,异化法和意译法。 Metaphor is a common cognitive phenomenon in human languages. Both English and Chinese are rich in metaphors. From the perspectives of pragmatic failure and pragmatic equivalence, the author makes a pragmatic comparison between English and Chinese metaphors, and presents three techniques on translating different types of metaphors, namely, domesticating, foreignizing and paraphrasing.
