Daffodils is one of the most popular short poems of William Wordsworth, which demonstrates a shade of mysticism. With the help of Bahtin' s theory of dialogism, this essay first undertakes to analyze the counterpoints and the micro and macro dialogues as shown in the poem. The discussion is then rendered to the mysticism that permeates throughout the poem. In addition to the vivid mystic description of the daffodils in the wildness and the poet' s prophetic concern for humanity, this essay reveals that Daffodils is also an elegy on Nature and ideal.
