摘　　要： 阐述了G IS(地理信息系统)在规划管理和规划设计部门的应用现状,指出规划设计部门现行的规划成图流程没能充分利用G IS空间数据库,缺乏必要的空间分析.从系统设计的角度出发,通过引入G IS平台软件M apInfo,对规划成图流程及所用软件进行了重新设计,并重点对G IS空间数据库在城市规划成图流程中的具体应用进行了论述. Firstly, this paper introduces the application status in department of planning management and section of planning and design, then points out that the latter doesn＇ t make fully use of the spatial database of GIS and is lack of spatial analysis. From the point of system design, the paper reorders the drawing flow by introdueeing the software of MapInfo. Lastly, some detailed application on spatial database of GIS in city planning is discussed.
