摘　　要： 建国前我国远程教育的产生和发展历程是我国远程教育史研究的重要对象,我国远程教育产生的历史背景与国内国际环境都有着极其紧密的联系。史实的研究和考证证明,我国远程教育起源于19世纪末,比通常所阐述的起源时间更早。术科函授教育、外国教会学校以及华侨、师范教育的发展是我国早期远程教育发展的3个重要组成部分。 The research on engendering and early development of China distance education is an important object of distance education history. The engendering history background of China distance education has very close connection with inner and outer situation. The research on historical fact proved that distance education of China came into being in the late 19th century, much earlier than the time mentioned in the previous research. The early development of distance education in China has three characters including subject correspondent education, foreign churchy school and overseas Chinese and teacher education.
