摘　　要： 以雅典奥运会运动员为主要对象,对当今世界体操强国运动员年龄结构进行研究。结果显示:获得团体和个人全能比赛前8名运动员的平均年龄,男子接近24岁,女子超过18岁;而获得男子吊环和自由体操单项奖牌运动员的平均年龄超过27岁和25岁,年龄最大者为34岁;女子进入跳马决赛运动员的平均年龄超过19岁,获得银牌者为26岁。可以认为,新北京奥运周期世界体操男子已进入到“成年化”、女子也进入到“青年化”发展的新时期。 Taking the gymnasts of Athens Olympic Games as researcn subjects,this article made analysis on age structure of gymnasts in modern power nations in gymnastics. The result showed that the average age of gymnasts of top 8 in team and all-round final was close to 24 years old for man and 18 years old for woman. The average age of gymnasts winning medals in man＇s rings and floor exercise was above 27 and 25 years old ,the oldest one was 34 years old. The average age of woman entering the horse vault final was above 19 years old. The silver medallist was 26 years old. Therefore,world man＇s gymnasts have entered the adult era and woman entered the younger ear in new Beijing Olympic circle.
