摘　　要： 改革开放以来，广州市的人口空间分布逐渐趋向分散，出现五种类型．其变动的主要方面是市内迁移，迁移特点表现为短距离、蔓延式向外扩散．根据人口空间分布演变特点，广州市的城市规划要增强规划的弹性；要继续完善和发展多中心的城市结构；在加强新区建设的同时，要重视旧城改造；适当增加高层建筑，精心规划好中心商务区． Since the economic reform and open-door policy, Guangzhou's urban population in terms of size has been growing rapidly, while in torms of spatial distribution has been gradually dispersed. Based on data analysis the article concludes that the intra-urban migration is thc most important factor which affects the spatial pattern of population in urban Guangzhou. The increase of planning adaptability, the promotion of multi- center urban structure, and policies in urban redevelopment and central area development, are suggested
