摘　　要： 前人对中国玉米栽培史作了大量研究工作；然而，玉米是中国原生植物还是引种作物，其在本土栽培的历史或引种传入中国的时间及途径等，至今还是未有公论、有待继续研究的课题。该文系统述评前人研究所得出的诸多观点后，认为中国也是玉米原产地之一，而国外玉米的传入则是多渠道的。 A great deal of research work had been done by our predecessors concerning the history of corn cultivation in China. However, questions such as'Is corn a plant indigenous to China or an introduced crop?','How about its cultivation history on native land'and 'When and how was it introduced into China?' have hitherto no recognized answers and remain a subject for further investigation. This paper approches the subject again and puts forward some new opinions after systematically narrating the different views of the predecessors.
