摘　　要： 通过对1994年到2003年国内564种学术刊物上公开发表的1109篇有关跨文化交际研究的论文进行内容分析,讨论了我国跨文化交际研究的现状,指出了存在的问题,并对我国今后跨文化交际研究的主流方向提出了建议。我国跨文化交际研究存在的主要问题有理论研究贫乏,研究范围狭窄、“浅论”、“试论”、“略论”式的文章多,实证研究结果少。要解决这些问题我们必须提倡和鼓励用科学研究的方法进行跨文化交际研究。 This research is a content analysis of 1109 research papers on intercultural communication published in 564 academic journals in China from 1994 to 2003. With a focus on the current research profile and existing problems, suggestions are offered on how intercultural communication research in China should develop in the future. The pronounced problems of current research include weak theoretical foundation, narrow research domain, voluminous descriptive writings, and lack of solid empirical research. To solve these problems, scientific research methods should be applied in the future.
