摘　　要： 目的:探索在本科医学生物学教学中实行全英文教学的教学模式和方法。材料和方法:在我系本科生物医学工程专业的医学生物学课程全面实行了全英文教学,我们的教学实践并没有对修读学生的英语水平进行限制,是在基于学生英语水平接近大学英语四级的基础上进行的。在教学中我们采用了(一)重在建立学生全英文学习自信心的循序渐进的教学法;(二)鼓励学生彻底使用全英文思维去学习全英文教学内容的教学法;(三)以老师课堂讲授为主及学生讨论式自学为辅的教学法。结果:在这门课的中段考试和期末考试中,学生平均成绩均达到良好水平,学生成绩呈正常的正态分布。期末考试该门课的及格率超过90%,学生对该门全英课程的教学评估为92分。在教学实践中我们也发现:(1)英语成绩高的学生其全英医学生物学的成绩也较高;(2)老师讲授部分的平均得分高于学生自学部分的平均得分。结论:我们的实践证明:对英语水平接近大学四级的本科生实施全英文教学是完全可能的。只要有过硬的师资队伍,结合有效的教学组织、先进的教材、先进的教学手段和先进的教学方法就完全可以取得良好的教学效果。 Objective To develop the teaching method of Medical Biology for undergraduate students using full English. Material and Methods The full English teaching in medical biology was conducted for the undergraduate students who are major in Biomedical Engineering. There was no preset limit in the English level for all the students who registered this course. The teaching was conducted based on the students whose English level is around level-4. Three teaching strategies step by step confident encouraging teaching method the full English-English learning method and lecture study combining with self-learning method were applied in our full English teaching. Results The mean score of students in midterm test and final examination was 80 full score is 100. The scores of the students were in the normal distribution. More than 90% of students passed the final examination. The evaluation of student for this full English course was 92 full score is 100. We also found that the English level was related with the score of full English medical biology. In addition the mean score of teacher lecture part is higher than that of self-learning part. Conclusion Our teaching practice demonstrated that it is possible to conduct the full English teaching for the undergraduate student whose English level is around level-4. A qualifial teaching team combining with the high quality textbook advance teaching tools and excellent teaching techniques is critical for success in full English teaching.
