摘 要: 光线空间(RaySpace)描述是目前实现复杂场景自由视点电视(FTV,FreeViewpointTelevision)的主要技术,光线空间的数据压缩是基于光线空间FTV的一个关键技术.本文提出了光线空间中“片”的概念,对片的纹理特性进行了分析.根据光线空间的规则纹理分布以及光线空间数据在纹理方向上有明显的相关性,提出了基于片内预测对光线空间数据进行压缩的方法,实验证明了所提出算法的有效性. Ray space representation is the main approach to realizing Free Viewpoint Television of complex scene. Data compression in ray space is one of the key technologies in FTV. In this paper, a new concept of 'slice' in ray space is presented to probe into new efficient approach to data compression in ray space, and the texture characteristics in one slice are analyzed. According to the regular texture distribution in ray space and more correlations contained in texture directions, a new approach to data compression in ray space is proposed based on characteristics analysis of intra-slice and intra-slice prediction. Some experiments are implemented, and the experimental results show that the proposed coding approach is quite effective.
