摘　　要： 《阿斯彭文稿》中隐藏的性别意识首先表现在作者在不动声色中对故事叙述者动机的消解,他对阿斯彭文稿的狂热追求下掩盖着他对名利的疯狂追逐;其次作者也成功地消解了叙述者的男性中心主义。在叙述者看来,女性的最终价值体现为“物化”的价值。作者对于《阿斯彭文稿》中体现出来的性别意识不是直接说出来的,而是通过作品中的“隐含作者”隐晦地表达出来。 The hidden sense of gender in 'The Aspern's Letters' lies in the deconstruction of the motive of the narrator in pursuing Aspern's letters and his male-centeredness. The narrator's pursues the letters out of his admiration for the late Aspern, yet what is hidden is his pursuit of fame and wealth. And his treatment of the women in the story is called into doubt. In his mind, woman is 'something' with a certain value, without any independent identity. But Henry James does not state this directly in his novel; instead, it is implied through the 'implied writer' in the work.
