摘　　要： 歧义词的存在是语言本身的内在现象,在适当的场合使用歧义词将产生意想不到的修辞效果。 Ambiguity is a pervasive feature of language. It s rhetoric effects may never be ignored though undoubtedly it causes confusion in communication. This article mainly probes into the aspects where ambiguous words can be used as a useful stylistic device.
