摘　　要： 本文理论与实例相结合，应用区域地理学的理论和方法论述市域社会经济发展研究与规划的主要内容及其重点．指出要充分运用“区域相关分析法”或“区域比较法”分析客体的特殊性，明确其在区域大环境中的地位和作用，作为制订本区域未来经济、社会发展战略方向、战略目标和编制科学决策方案的依据．为适应经济社会发展与改革的要求，要注意把市场经济观念贯穿于区域研究与规划的始终；要改变以往软科学研究成果，必需经层层批示才能实施的观念，要力求早出效益、多出效益，出硬效益． This article is to combine theory and example on the basis of practice,toexpound how to apply the theory of area geography and method, to develop urbandi;trict social economy and to plan the study of its main contcnt; to point out fully howto apply“Analysis of Regional Relativity ”or“Regional Comparison ” to analyze andplan the characteristic;of the object to make clear its position and function in the bigenvironment of the area, to make it the basis for making the regional economic andsocial development strategic line and strategic goal and scientific decision plan. To copewith the need of eccnomic social cevelopment and reform,the renovation of conceptionof two kinds must be oaid attentio. to;first, market economic concept must be bornethrough from the beginning to the end of the study &plan of the region;sccond, the oldidea of soft science must be changed that the old method in the past of application ofscientific result only after it has undergone a series of formalities of approval.Greatefforts must be made in the soft science to produce hart effect,early effect and mucheffect.
