The excretory─secretory(ES)antigens of protoscolex,Echinococcus granulosus were pre-pared by in vitro cultivation of protoscolex for 14 days.The immune reactogenicity of protoscolex ES antigenswas evaluated by Enzyme─linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) for the first time with the following sheepsera:The known positive sera with natural infection of E. granulosus,the known negative sera,sheep serawith experimentally infected E,granuIosus, sheep sera immunized with antigens,sheep sera from endemoepi-demic areas,sheep sera with natural infection of Fasciola hepatica,Cysticercus tenuicollis and Anaplasma sp.The micro─ELISA plates was coated with 0.2ml of antigens.The antigen concentration was 5μg/ml. The results show that the reactogenicity of protoscolex ES antigens was very well and was superior tothe crude extract of protoscolex.
