摘 要: 为什么对外宣传中常有翻译谬误?有什么好的解决办法?多年来不断有专家学者在寻找答案。遗憾的是,这种情况似乎至今看不到改善。本文从翻译教师的角度对此进行了探讨,认为其根本原因在于翻译教育的失误,具体表现在对翻译的普遍误解和(或)对“原文”的过度迷信。因此,解决问题的长效办法在于反思现行的翻译教育,建立我国翻译教材的新体系。 What causes the multifarious errors in publicity-oriented Chinese-English translation? Can we find any effective means for solving the problem? These questions, for the past decades, have been the constant concern of many scholars. However, even today the problem seems to defy all attempts at solution. The author of this paper, from the perspective of a translation teacher, argues that the root cause lies in the failure of our translation education. Such failure could stem from people's general misunderstanding of translation and/or the translator's undue faith in the source text. It is suggested that a long-term solution would be, on the basis of rethinking the existing translation education, establishing a new system for translation textbooks in China.
