摘　　要： 湖南在明以后逐渐成了一个戏剧大省, 目前学者对其境内大部分剧种的历史源流都有了较为清楚的认识, 但对曾盛行于湖南城乡之影戏的历史源流的认识, 却是相当模糊。如其形成时间, 或曰起于光绪二十二年,或曰是明万历年间, 或干脆说“不见记载”。万历之说因证据不足而不可信, 光绪二十二年说又晚于实际情况。由于没有确切材料, 我们以为湖南影戏形成时间的上限暂难拟订, 但其下限不会晚于1855年。 Hunan is a province of drama since Ming dynasty , the scholar have studied on the drama of their history clearly in Hunan ,but they didn‘t know about the history of Hunan Shadow play .For instance,there are several different ideas on its formation time:from Guangxu 22 years, or during Ming Dynasty Wanli, or “no note in history”. The point of Wanli is untruth because of the limited material, but the says of Guangxu is later the facts. We put forward a viewpoint that we don’t draw the formation time exact of Hunan shadow play because no the enough article, but it didn‘t later 1855 year.
