摘　　要： 《老人与海》既突出地表现了基督教精神，又在新的时代条件下有了新的创造，作品中的三个人物恰似一个新的三位一体，预示了一种新的信仰的开始。 Hemingway's The Old Man and the sea is not only a clear manifestation of Christian spirits, but also a new creation of its meanings in modern society.The three major characters in the book are in a sense something like a new trinity- -the beginning of a new faith.
