摘　　要： 从对国内都市圈的研究来看,都市圈的功能模式主要有综合经济区划模式、城镇体系模式、市场一体化模式三种。南京都市圈功能定位研究将南京都市圈定位为国内最具竞争力的都市圈之一、长江流域与东部沿海交汇地带的枢纽型都市圈、江苏省首位核心都市圈和兼收并蓄、开放多元的文化型都市圈。 Studies of domestic city circles have re- vealed that there are three main functional modes of city circles:comprehensive economic zone divi- sion mode,town system mode,market integration mode.The study of the function orientation of the city circle of Nanjing has placed Nanjing as one of the city circles with the most powerful competitive strength,a pivotal city circle at the junction of the Yangtze River drainage area andthe eastern coastal area,the first essential city circle in Jiangsu and an all-embracing,openanddiversified cultural city circle in Jiangsu.
