摘　　要： 汕头大力发展海洋产业具有重大战略意义。构筑汕头海洋产业提速发展战略平台的目标选择应是:做强港口产业经济,积极发展海洋食品与保健品生产加工业及海洋医药技术产业,增创海洋水产业新优势,拓展滨海旅游业。 Based on comparative economic principle, we emphasize here that it is of great strategic significance to develop ocean industry in Shantou. We hold the opinion that the aim in building strategic platform in Shantou aquatic industry development should be: to strengthen and enlarge seaport industry economy; to develop ocean food and health-care food processing and ocean medication industry; to create more ocean aquatic industry advantage; to develop seaside city tourism.
