摘　　要： 对树的牙齿形态作了观察。在牙齿方面树不同于灵长目的主要特征是：３对梳状下门，锥状上门齿、门齿样犬齿。而前臼齿和臼齿则具备灵长目最原始的特征。文中从牙齿进化的角度对树的分类地位提出了看法。 he dental characters of 69 adult tree shrews(Tupaia Belanggeri Chinensis)have been investigated,The characters of the anterior teeth three pairs of comb一shaped lower incisors,cone一shaped incisors and the incisor一like canine do not possess the characters of the teeth of the primates,Their premolars and molars posssess the very primitive characters of the primates,showing apparent lingual on the upper and lower molars no talonid on the upper molars,and higher tribonid withthree cuspo than talonid with two cusps on the lower molars. Thus the tree shrew may be classified asthe Climbing Shrew.
