摘　　要： 人的现代化是现代化的核心问题 ,它是包括人的素质现代化、职业现代化、组织现代化在内的多层次的全面现代化。体育以其特有的精神内涵和运行方式 ,在促进人的全面现代化发展过程中起到重要的中介转化作用。 Modernization of human being is the core issue in modernization theories.It is a kind of complete multi layers' modernization of human being which includes the human's qualities and employment structure and organization style in PE & sports.They also promote the processes of modernization of human being with their particular spirit connotation and operation manner. This essay concerns the functions of PE & sports in realizing the modernization of human being from several fields.
